That's right, another post! II

I do love new years resolutions. But sometimes a post a week can be demanding on even the hardest of souls.

As you may have seen from an earlier post, my self portrait, although swimming in potential, has still got far to go before joining the ranks of the few completed paintings I have amassed. The next stage to my painting technique is to add to the darkest portion with black to give me a sense of real definition as opposed to meer possible potential, which I will say once again, it is almost drowning in.

The next stage is where the magic happens, or at least the flavour.

This stage in the creation has affectionately been named "The Panda" stage. I have faith in you that you can work out why.

I will not tire you with why the particular colours were chosen, instead I'll explain a little why they are where they are. Instead of concentrating on the shades and highlights on the subject and using the appropriate and equivilant tones, I instead use different colours to represent this.

It's all very exciting...
